PRESIDENT

T.C. McCourt

A two-time Democratic candidate for Morris County Commissioner, including in this year's election, T.C. also serves as Vice-Chair of the Morris County Democratic Committee's LGBTQA+ Caucus.  A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (B.A., Political Science) and Arkansas State University (Master of Public Administration), he and his husband Bryan are the proud parents of two cats, Danica and Whitney.

VICE PRESIDENT

Laura Bustamante

Currently the Policy & Campaign Manager with the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice (NJAIJ), Laura is the former Chief of Staff to Jersey City Councilman James Solomon.  She holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and National Security from NJCU and is currently pursuing a dual Masters in Public Administration and Protection Management from John Jay College.

Jonathan Bellinghausen

A former Morris County Democratic Committee and Mikie Sherrill for Congress intern, Jonathan is a rising junior at the Rutgers Business School-New Brunswick.  He serves as Vice President of the Student Assembly's Allocations Board, overseeing the distribution of over $2.2M to organizations on campus.

Carrie O'Brien

A lifelong resident of Montville, Carrie began canvassing for Democrats at the age of 10.  She graduated from Southern Oregon University, studying environmental science and policy, business, and communications.  She recently started her own consulting business, American Infrastructure Solutions, focusing on sustainable risk management strategies .

PAC CHAIR

Leslye Moya

A lifelong New Jerseyan, and current resident of Butler, Leslye has developed an extensive political resume in a very short time.  Beginning as an intern with the 2018 re-election campaign of Rep. Frank Pallone, she went on to serve as a Field Director and then Political Director for the Morris County Democratic Committee.  She served as the Secretary of the Morris County Young Democrats from 2020 to 2022.

After serving as a Regional Political Director for Governor Murphy's successful 2021 re-election, Leslye now works as the Deputy Executive Director for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.
