Our Executive Board

ACTING PRESIDENT
Carrie O'Brien (Mine Hill)
Raised in Montville, where her father was a longtime member of the Board of Education.
Carrie began canvassing for Democrats at the age of 10 and has assisted countless campaigns across the county, state, and country.
She took her turn at being a candidate as the Democratic nominee for Morris County Clerk in 2023.
A graduate of Southern Oregon University, Carrie is the Founder of American Infrastructure Solutions, a firm that focuses on sustainable risk management strategies.
Carrie previously served as Secretary of the Morris County Young Democrats from July 2022 to April 2023 and November 2023 to July 2024, and is the Sergeant-at-Arms for the Morris County Democratic Women's Caucus.

TREASURER
Jonathan Bellinghausen (Randolph)
A 2024 graduate of Rutgers Business School, where as Student Body President he advocated on behalf of over 5,000 students, Jonathan is the youngest member of our Executive Board at just 22 years old.
​
As Vice Chair of the Rutgers University Student Assembly’s Allocations Board, he oversaw over $7M in student fees distributed to hundreds of student organizations.
​
Following a successful internship, Jonathan joined Prudential Financial's Global Technology group.
​
Jonathan has been a prodigious volunteer in countless campaigns all across the county since he was a student at Randolph High School.​

SECRETARY
Deborah Tejada (Jefferson)
Though she is the newest member of our Executive Board, ​this lifelong New Jerseyan has served as the Co-Chair of the Jefferson Township Democratic Committee since 2023 and was an avid and active volunteer before her election.
​
Deborah received her B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Seton Hall University in 2018 and, while at SHU, served as Vice President of the College Democrats.
She went on to receive her Masters in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University in 2022.
Professionally, Deborah is a Care Manager with Caring Partners of Morris and Sussex, Inc. and a part-time Behavioral Analyst.

PRESIDENT EMERITUS
T.C. McCourt
Having served as President from 2022 to 2024, T.C. led the MCYD out of the pandemic and left it in its strongest logistical and financial position in years.
Before being elected President, T.C. served as the MCYD's Outreach Coordinator from 2020 to 2022, allowing him to develop relationships with Democratic leaders across the county, region, and state.

T.C. has served his town on its Planning Board (2018-2022) and his county on the Morris County Heritage Commission (2020-2022). In January of 2024, he was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate to a position on the New Jersey Historical Commission, having been nominated by Governor Phil Murphy.
A candidate for Dover's Town Council in 2019, and Morris County Commissioner in 2021 and 2022, T.C. was elected to serve on Dover's Board of Education in 2024.

He was privileged to be elected a District Delegate for President Joe Biden to the 2024 Democratic National Convention and ultimately went on to become the first New Jersey Delegate to publicly endorse Vice President Kamala Harris.​
​
He holds an MPA from Arkansas State University and a B.A. (Political Science) from Virginia Commonwealth University. His day job sees him serving as the Director of Sales Enablement for a $60 million global division of a cable and wire manufacturer.
